Waste Management has informed us that due to the holiday on Monday and the heavy snow today, there could be a delay in garbage pickup. They have advised us to put our cans out as usual on Thursday morning, but don't be concerned if it is not picked up until Friday. .
Effective July 1 the recycling schedule will change from Schedule B to Schedule A for Hyde Park residents north of 600 South/3100 North. For these residents, your recycling will be collected on July 6 and again on July 13. The next collection will be on July 27.

Hyde Park City has a municipal election this year with 3 seats on the city council up for election. In an effort to educate the public on city business, encourage active participation in the community, and introduce the elections process, the city is hosting the first ever Resident Workshop.
